Sclerotherapy- Injection Treatment for Hemorrhoids with Sterile Saline

Does It Really Help?

Nonetheless, it isn’t the same with large hemorrhoids. People with large hemorrhoids have to opt for treatments like ligation.

Complications

Some rare complications have been reported when treated with injection.

If not injected properly, painful burning sensation might occur in the affected region. Allergic reactions have also been observed in some cases. Rare cases of ulcer and mucosa have also been reported. In some worst cases infections tend to occur on the anal region.

Although not a routine treatment, injection treatment for hemorrhoids with sterile saline and other chemicals have become common nowadays. It is one of the most effective fixative procedures that can dramatically treat hemorrhoids.
